The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has released the admission notification for MBBS, BDS, BAMS (Ayurveda) and BVSc & AH (Veterinary) courses for the academic year 2026-27. Candidates who have qualified UG NEET 2026 can now apply online for admission to Government and self-financing medical, dental, ayurveda and veterinary colleges in the Union Territory.

Documents and Certificate Requirements
Candidates claiming “Residence of Puducherry” must upload renewed certificates dated on or after 01.01.2026, as applicable:
- Residence Certificate
- Community Certificate (certificates in the format used for Central Educational Institutions will not be accepted)
- EWS Quota certificate (issued by Revenue Department on or after 01.04.2026)
- Income Certificate (obtained on or after 01.04.2026)
- Regional Reservation certificate (Karaikal / Mahe / Yanam), as applicable
- Special Reservation certificates, as applicable:
- Freedom Fighter (FF) certificate issued by Freedom Fighter Cell
- UDID card for Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD)
- Ex-Serviceman (ESM) certificate issued by Department of Sainik Welfare
- Meritorious Sports Person (MSP) certificate
- Government School Quota – Transfer Certificate showing continuous study (Std. 1 to 12) in Puducherry Government schools
- Telugu Minority Quota Certificate – T.C./school certificate stating Mother Tongue as Telugu
Important Cautions
- Applications claiming nativity/residency in multiple states, or using fake certificates to avail quota benefits, will be rejected – with possible legal action.
- Submitting duplicate applications by a single candidate will result in rejection of both applications and cancellation of candidature.
- Candidates must ensure the NEET All-India Rank is entered correctly as per the NEET 2026 Score Card.
- Candidates should verify all details before final submission.
Note for Meritorious Sports Persons (MSP) Candidates
MSP candidates from the Puducherry region must submit a self-attested copy of their sports certificates in person at the CENTAC office, Kamarajar Manimandapam, by August 6, 2026, 5:00 PM. Candidates from Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam regions can upload a self-attested scanned copy as a single PDF via their login dashboard by the same deadline. The admission guidelines for the MSP quota remain subject to the outcome of pending writ petitions before the Madras High Court.
