CENTAC Puducherry Extends UG NEET Application Deadline to August 8, 2026

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has issued a notice extending the deadline for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate NEET-based courses – MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BVSc & AH (National, Special Scheme, and NRI categories) – for the academic year 2026-2027.

New Application Deadline

As per the notice dated August 6, 2026 (Ref. No. CENTAC/UG-NEET/2026/02), the last date for submission of online applications has been extended to Saturday, August 8, 2026, up to 5:00 p.m. CENTAC has clarified that no further extension will be provided for submitting or completing the application.

Provision for Candidates Awaiting Renewed Certificates

Candidates who have not yet received their renewed certificates have been given relief. They may attach their old certificates and complete their application by the extended deadline of August 8, 2026, 5:00 p.m. However, such candidates must submit their renewed certificates before the publication of the Final Merit List.

Important Points for Candidates

1. Edit option closed for existing applicants: Candidates who had already completed and submitted their applications before August 6, 2026, 5:00 p.m., will find the edit option to update or modify data closed, as the data is now frozen. Such candidates, if they wish to submit additional certificates, may do so through the Grievance option available in their dashboard login.
2. No duplicate applications: Since the edit option is closed, candidates should not submit a duplicate application to update or modify their data. Any requests for editing or modifying data must be submitted through the Grievance option in the dashboard login before the final merit list is published.

3. Complete pending application details before August 8, 2026, 5:00 p.m.
4. Attach old certificates if renewed certificates are not yet available
5. Submit renewed certificates via the Grievance option once received
