Delhi NEET Seat Allotment Procedure 2026
The Delhi NEET Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The seat allotment and mop-up round process will be done separately for each round. The Seat allotment will be based entirely on the merit rank and choices entered by candidates.
The Delhi MBBS and BDS seat allotment results for Round I counselling will be held. The seat allotment result will be published online in the Faculty of Medical Science, University of Delhi, GGSIPU.
Applying seekers who have been allotted seats in Round I will also opt for up-gradation in Second Round. And if the candidate gets an upgraded seat in the Second Round, the seat allotted in the First Round will be cancelled.

Delhi NEET UG Seat Allotment 2026 is the counselling process through which eligible candidates are allotted MBBS and BDS seats in participating Delhi medical and dental colleges based on their NEET UG rank, category, quota eligibility, preferences and seat availability.
Who conducts Delhi NEET UG counselling 2026?
The Medical Counselling Committee conducts counselling for:
15% All India Quota seats
85% Delhi Quota seats of Delhi University
Applicable IP University seats, including VMMC, ABVIMS and ESIC Dental College
AIIMS New Delhi seats
Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia

Is NEET UG compulsory for medical admission in Delhi?

Who is eligible for the 85% Delhi Quota?
Eligibility depends on the university and institution concerned. For Delhi University’s 85% quota, candidates must fulfil the educational and other conditions stated in the DU MBBS/BDS Information Bulletin 2026–27. Candidates should not assume that merely residing in Delhi is sufficient.
Where will the Delhi NEET UG seat-allotment result be published?
The round-wise provisional and final allotment results will be published on the official MCC UG counselling portal. DU and GGSIPU may separately issue admission, reporting, category-verification and document-verification notices.
