This section provides detailed information about Delhi NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria; all candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying the registration form. Eligibility Conditions/Requirement for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under 85% Delhi quota: Let’s look.

Age LimitThe candidates should have completed 17 years on or before 31st December 2021. The candidates completing the age of 17 years on 1st January 2022 or later on will not be eligible for admission, i.e., the candidate must be born on or before 31.12.2004.
Qualifying examinationi) The educational qualification for admission is as per NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Further to become eligible for 85% Delhi Quota, the candidate must have passed the 11th and 12th standard examination under 10 + 2 system conducted by CBSE/Indian school certificate examination/Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi or any other equivalent examination from a recognized school situated within the NCT of Delhi only.
ii) The Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from Patrachar Vidyalaya or the National Institute of Open Schooling will be eligible for admission in MBBS/BDS courses under 85% of Delhi Quota provided their study centre and the examination Center were within the (NCTD). They must upload a certificate from the controlling authority of Prachar Vidyalaya/NIOS in this regard.
Entrance ExamThe candidates who do not qualify for the NEET-UG-2021 Examination
conducted by NTA are not eligible.
Medical FitnessThe candidate should be medically fit for the course.
NOTE: The candidates above 25 years are provisionally permitted to appear, and their candidature is subjected to the outcome of pending Petitions before the Hon’ble Supreme Court. PwD CategoryThe candidates seeking admission under the PwD category will be required to appear before the Medical Board of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi. The decision of the Medical Board will be final in this regard.
The Medical Board constituted by Delhi University will examine the candidates based on the guidelines notified by the Government of India.
Medical BoardThe appearance date before the Medical Board will be notified on the website www.fmsc.ac.in. No separate intimation will be given to individual candidates. No TA/DA will be provided.
The candidates who do not appear before the Medical Board or are found medically unfit shall not be allowed to join the course.

Govt. of India Nomination (Central Pool Scheme)

  • As per guidelines for selection against Central Pool MBBS/BDS seat for the academic year-2021, -2022 vide letter no. U.14014/1/2019-ME-II, dated 1 May 2019 Government of India, Ministry of Health &Family Welfare (ME-II Section)
  • The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of rank obtained in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET UG-2021 being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), As per Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 1997 of Medical Council of India, it shall be necessary for the candidates to obtain minimum marks of 50th percentile at NEET UG-2021. The percentile shall be determined on the basis of the highest marks secured in the All India common merit list in NEET for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
  • 21 Seats (6-MAMC + 15-LHMC) in MBBS Course will be filled up on the basis of recommendations of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. These recommendations are made by the Ministry from names sponsored by various authorities as given below. The eligible candidates should not apply for such seats to the Institutions/Colleges/universities or to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. Such applicants for Central Pool Scheme should apply to the following authorities only after obtaining the minimum marks in NEET-UG-2021.
  • The candidates belonging to the ‘Central Pool Scheme’ (NGOI) category for the Session 2021-2022 will be required to register online on or before the last date of admission.

The medical education department is responsible for training medical and paramedical personal to meet the state’s health needs.

The Faculty of Medical Sciences has been established under statute 9 (Nine) of the Statute of the University of Delhi. The Faculty has such powers and to perform such duties as may be assigned by Statutes and the Ordinances and shall, from time to time, appoint such and so many committees of courses and studies in different branches of knowledge as may be prescribed by the Ordinances. The Faculty shall also consider and make such recommendations to the Academic Council on any question about respective spheres of work as may appear necessary or on any matter referred to by the Academic Council.
