Gujarat NEET UG 2026: MBBS & BDS Academic Session Starts on September 15

The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Government of Gujarat, has issued a notice confirming that the academic session for MBBS and BDS courses for 2026-27 will begin on September 15, 2026, in line with the counselling schedule for undergraduate medical and dental courses set by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi.

As per the notice dated September 2, 2026, at 4:50 PM, the academic session of MBBS and BDS courses for the 2026-27 batch will commence on September 15, 2026, aligning Gujarat’s college admission timelines with the national counselling calendar overseen by MCC.

The date falls within Gujarat’s ongoing NEET UG counselling cycle conducted by ACPUGMEC, which covers Government, Grant-in-Aid, and Self-Financed medical and dental colleges across the state.
