Haryana BAMS/BHMS Admission 2026 Procedure Notified

The Government of Haryana, AYUSH Department, has issued the official notification laying down the admission procedure for BAMS/BHMS courses for the Academic Session 2026-27 in all participating Government, Government-Aided and Private institutions of the state -including colleges under Private/Deemed Universities and UT Chandigarh.

As per the notification (No. 11/04/2024-3AY dated 18.09.2026), Shri Krishna AYUSH University (SKAU), Kurukshetra is authorized to conduct the online Combined Centralized Counselling based on NEET UG 2026 merit for all Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic colleges in Haryana, Private/Deemed Universities, and UT Chandigarh, subject to document verification by the respective Admission Committees.

AIQ counselling is conducted by the Ministry of AYUSH/NCISM/SKAU based on All India NEET UG 2026 merit; the remaining seats are filled by SKAU based on state-level counselling.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a citizen of India
• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology
• Must meet minimum eligibility marks as per NEET UG 2026 Information Bulletin
• Minimum age: 17 years, born on or before 31.12.2009
• Bonafide residents of Haryana (or specified categories) eligible for State Quota; Management Quota open to candidates from across India

Key Counselling Provisions

• Admission is strictly as per NEET UG 2026 merit through the University Admission Portal.
• Personal appearance with original documents is mandatory for document verification.
• 2nd/3rd Round Security Fee: ₹5,000 (for State Quota in Govt./Govt.-Aided colleges only) or ₹50,000 (for State Quota + Management Quota in Private institutes).
• Security fee is adjusted in tuition fee on joining, forfeited on non-joining/cancellation, and refunded if no seat is allotted.
• Candidates who leave the course after the last date of admission (as per NCISM/NCH norms) must pay the entire course tuition fee as per the Bond signed at reporting.
• Any admission made independently by private BAMS/BHMS colleges outside this centralized counselling shall be considered null and void.
• Reservation benefits (SC, D-SC, BC-A, BC-B, EWS, PwBD, ESM, FF) will apply as per Haryana Government policy; 5% seats are reserved for PwBD candidates.
• Preference is given to the Nath Sampradaya community for Baba Mast Nath College of Ayurveda, Rohtak (a minority institution).

The notification applies to SKAU-affiliated Government/Private colleges, MSM Institute of Ayurveda (BPSMV, Sonipat), SGT University (Gurugram), Baba Mast Nath University (Rohtak), Sanskaram University (Jhajjar), and Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College (UT Chandigarh).
