What the Merit List Contains

The list is arranged in order of merit and gives the following details for each candidate:

• Merit number and application number
• Candidate’s name
• Admission quota, such as HP Quota, Management Quota or NRI Quota
• Category and reservation, for example General, SC, ST, OBC or Economically Weaker Sections
• NEET All India Rank and NEET roll number
• NEET score
• Backward Area and Defence Personnel status
• Category name and NRI status

The candidate at merit number 1 has an NEET All India Rank of 756 and a score of 663. The last candidate in the list, at merit number 2,995, has a score of 177.

Objection Deadline

AMRU has stated that the merit list is system-generated and based on the data available in the system. Candidates who find any discrepancy in the merit must report it by email to counselling.amruhp@gmail.com. The deadline is 11:00 AM on October 1, 2026.

Important Instructions for Candidates

The AMRU notice carries the following instructions:

• The merit is provisional. It is only indicative in nature and subject to change. Candidates cannot claim any right over an allotted seat on the basis of provisional merit, and it cannot be challenged before a court of law.
• Certificates must be valid. Candidates claiming any reserved category or quota must ensure that all their certificates and documents are valid, updated and in the format prescribed in the prospectus.
• Documents should be updated before admission starts. Candidates should get their certificates prepared or updated in the prescribed format, wherever required, before the admission process begins.
• Invalid documents mean no benefit. In case of any discrepancy, an outdated or invalid certificate, or non-submission of the prescribed document, the candidate will not be entitled to claim the benefit of the respective category or quota.
