Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released the schedule for IPU BAMS BHMS counselling 2026 for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates. The notifications are dated October 1, 2026, and cover the BAMS (Code 153) and BHMS (Code 154, Round 02) programmes for the 2026-27 session. Candidates can register and fill choices on the official portal, ipu.admissions.nic.in.
Admissions will be made purely on merit, based on the NEET UG 2026 All India Rank as per the qualifying percentile. There will be no change in the “Category” specified in the NEET UG 2026 form.

Who Is Eligible for BHMS Round 2?
Eligible:
- Freshly registered candidates
- Candidates who registered and filled choices but were not allotted a seat in Round 1
- Candidates whose allotted seat was cancelled due to non-uploading of a valid reserved category certificate, resulting in conversion to General Category
- Candidates who reported at the allotted institute in Round 1 and submitted willingness for “Float” (upgradation) in Round 2
Not eligible:
- Candidates not registered for counselling
- Candidates who registered but did not fill choices/preferences
- Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 who did not pay the requisite Part Academic Fee
- Candidates who paid the Part Academic Fee and submitted willingness “Freeze”
- Candidates who paid the fee and opted “Freeze/Float” but did not report at the allotted college
- Candidates who have withdrawn their allotted seat from Round 1

BAMS Seat Details
BAMS counselling through GGSIPU is for Ch. Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, Khera Dabar, Najafgarh, Delhi-110073. The institute has 125 seats (including EWS), divided into State Quota (85%) and All India Quota (15%).
- 85% State Quota: Counselling is conducted by the university. Only candidates who studied 10+2 and passed the qualifying examination from a school or college located in Delhi are eligible.
- 15% All India Quota: Seats are filled through centralised counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This is not conducted by the university.
Delhi State Quota Rule for BAMS and BHMS
For State Quota seats, only candidates who studied 10+2 from a school or college located in Delhi are eligible for the 85% Delhi State Quota seats in both the BAMS and BHMS programmes.
Documents and Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates can correct or edit their category, sub-category and region (based on the qualifying examination, i.e. Class 12 from a school or college in Delhi or outside Delhi). They must upload their educational testimonials, reserved category documents and NEET UG 2026 scorecard.
- Candidates must have secured the minimum cut-off percentile and score in NEET UG 2026 as per NMC/DCI/NCISM regulations.
- Since the Class 12 result has been declared, candidates must upload their Class 12 or qualifying examination marksheet. Valid reserved category certificates are also mandatory. If valid documents are missing, the seat secured on the basis of the claimed category or region will be cancelled.
Choice Filling Instructions
- Choice filling is compulsory. Candidates who do not fill choices will not be considered for online seat allotment.
- After enrolment for online counselling, candidates must fill choices during the choice filling period.
- Once the choice filling period is over, the choices filled by the candidate will be used for allotment.
- Candidates should save their choices and take a printout for future reference.
- For BAMS, candidates will get the opportunity to edit, modify, add or delete preferences after allotment in the subsequent round of counselling.
The detailed procedure to be followed after the declaration of results will be notified by the university in due course. Candidates should read the Admission Brochure 2026-27 and check www.ipu.ac.in and ipu.admissions.nic.in for regular updates. If any provision of the brochure conflicts with binding regulations or directions of the government or a statutory body, the higher norms will prevail.
