Mandatory Activities
The University has clarified that completing Fee Payment, Willingness Submission, and Reporting (Sl. No. 1, 2 & 5) is mandatory for candidates to remain eligible for further rounds of online counselling. Failure to complete any of these will render the candidate ineligible for subsequent rounds.
Key Points for Candidates
- Seat Allotment: Allotment is made as per the category and region claimed by the candidate at registration; documents will be verified subsequently at the allotted institute. A seat allotted due to wrong region or deficient reserved category documents will be cancelled.
- No Provisional Admission: Provisional admission will not be granted for result-awaited or compartment/supplementary cases.
- Fee Non-Adjustment: Part academic fee paid for one programme will not be adjusted against another programme.
- Freeze/Float Option: Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat can choose FREEZE to retain it; those seeking upgradation in the next round must choose FLOAT. If willingness is not submitted, the system will default to FLOAT.
- Document Verification: Any discrepancy found during online document verification will trigger a query in the candidate’s login, which must be answered within the stipulated time. No separate/personal intimation will be sent – candidates must check their portal regularly.
- Reserved Category Rules: Detailed conditions apply for Delhi/Outside Delhi region claims for SC/ST candidates, OBC (Delhi) certificate requirements (27% reservation, valid only for Delhi OBC candidates residing in Delhi prior to 1993), EWS reservation (applicable only to unreserved category candidates, certificate issued after 31 March 2026), PWD category, and Defence/Army quota candidates (requiring Appendix 9A/9B/9C as applicable).
- Fee Refund: In case of withdrawal, the refund (after deduction) will be credited to the bank account provided at the time of registration; no request for change of bank details will be entertained later.
Important Notes
- Results must be checked by candidates through their own account login – no personal intimation will be given by phone, email, or in person.
- Candidates who were allotted a seat in this round but did not pay the part academic fee will not be considered in the subsequent round of counselling.
- Institutes are required to submit a compliance certificate to the Admission Branch within two days of the reporting schedule, confirming document verification and reporting status of allotted candidates.
