Jharkhand MBBS/BDS Special Round Counselling 2026 Dates Released

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has announced the JCECEB Special Round Counselling 2026 for admission to vacant All India seats in MBBS and BDS courses. The notice, dated October 23, 2026, was issued on the directions of the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand. Eligible candidates can apply online until 3:00 PM on October 25, 2026.

Colleges Covered in the Special Round

The Board will prepare a merit list for the vacant All India seats in the following institutes:

MBBS

• Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Bishrampur, Palamu
• Netaji Subhas Medical College & Hospital, Adityapur, Seraikela-Kharsawan
• Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital, Dumka
• Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences, Khunti

BDS

• Vananchal Dental College & Hospital, Garhwa (under Babu Dinesh Singh University)

JCECEB Special Round Schedule 2026

Display of vacant seat matrix and publication of merit list for the Special Round	October 25, 2026
Download of provisional seat allotment letter from the Board’s website	October 26, 2026

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the All India Merit List. The merit list prepared by the Board will then be sent to the concerned college or university for admission.

Earlier Merit Lists Are Null and Void

JCECEB has said that the merit lists of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Stray Vacancy Rounds of online counselling published earlier will be treated as null and void for this round. Candidates who took part in the earlier rounds must therefore apply afresh to be considered in the Special Round.

1. Visit the official JCECEB website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
2. Click the link “Click here for All Online Application Submission – JCECEB 2026.”
3. Fill in the online application form for the Special Round.
4. Submit the form before 3:00 PM on October 25, 2026.
5. Keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference.
