The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the online choice filling and counselling schedule for admission to NEET UG (MBBS/BDS) courses for the 2026 session. The notification (No. 152-BOPEE of 2026) was issued on August 15, 2026.
As per the notice, the Board had earlier notified the Provisional Merit List for NEET UG Courses-2026 vide Notification No. 145-BOPEE of 2026, dated August 12, 2026, inviting objections from candidates up to August 14, 2026, till 1:00 PM. The representations received have now been scrutinized and disposed of as per rules. Candidates are advised to log in and check their updated status.

Choice Filling Fee
Candidates wishing to fill up the Preference Form for allotment of seats/colleges must deposit an online fee of ₹1,500/-. Key points to note:
- Bank transaction charges will be borne by the applicant.
- The amount deposited is non-refundable.
- Candidates who fail to make the online payment for any reason, including payment failure cases, will under no circumstances be considered for allotment of a seat.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- All eligible candidates must carefully go through the e-Counselling Guidelines available on the official website before filling online choices.
- The e-Information Brochure is also available on the official BOPEE website.
- The Seat Matrix for the courses will be published on the official website before the choice filling process begins.
- Candidates who have not submitted valid category certificates by the deficiency deadline of August 14, 2026 (till 1:00 PM), will be considered under the Open Merit Category at the time of seat allotment, if otherwise found eligible.
- Candidates who have not submitted valid sub-category certificates by the same deadline will be considered under their respective main categories at the time of allotment, if otherwise found eligible.
- Merely filling online preferences does not confer any right of admission. Admission remains subject to eligibility verification by the concerned colleges/institutions for provisionally selected candidates.
- All other terms and conditions will remain as per the e-Information Brochure, Notifications, and Notices issued by the Board from time to time.
