Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024: Second Phase Will Allot Vacancies on March 16

Karnataka NEET PG 2024 second vacancy round: ₹5 lakh deposit (March 13-15), document submission (March 14), option entry (March 13-16), allotment (March 16-17), fee payment (March 17-19), and reporting deadline (March 19); non-compliance leads to penalties.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the second phase schedule for NEET PG 2024 seat allotment. Candidates will have to pay the security deposit between March 13 and 15 on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Karnataka NEET PG 2024: Eligibility for Second Stray Vacancy Round

Candidates meeting the following criteria can participate in the second stray vacancy round of Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024:

  • Candidates who do not hold a seat allotted in the first or second round of KEA, MCC, or other state counselling.
  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in round 3 or the stray vacancy round through KEA or MCC (including those who canceled or are not holding a pre/para-clinical seat).
  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in MCC’s special stray vacancy round.
  • Candidates who have newly registered, completed verification, and submitted original documents at KEA.

Candidates will have to pay a caution fee of Rs 5 lakh for participating in counselling, which will be adjusted in the fees upon getting a PG medical seat. If they fail to pay the fee, do not report to the allotted college, refuse admission or cancel the seat, the caution fee will be forfeited. Additionally, they will have to pay a penalty as per rules and will be barred from future counselling, including All India Quota (AIQ), for the next year.

The officials instructed the eligible candidates to re-enter their options in the order of priority, as the previous selections would not be considered. They should confirm the fee before selecting the options and note that cancellation or non-joining will attract a penalty.
