Of the 503 newly allotted candidates, 261 got private seats and 210 got management seats. Only 31 got government seats. Government quota upgrades stood at 256.

The first entry in the list is All India Rank 1,894. This candidate was newly allotted a seat at Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore (MBBS-Govt, GM category, course fee Rs 64,350). Ranks 3,734 and 3,843 were upgraded to the same college. Other government colleges seen in the early part of the list include Mysore Medical College, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Science, Bengaluru and Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli.

Fee Details

The list shows the course fee against each allotment. For example:

• Government MBBS (GM category) at Bangalore Medical College and Mysore Medical College: Rs 64,350
• Private and management seats carry much higher fees. In the list, they run from lakhs to over Rs 25 lakh. NRI and management entries start at Rs 25,09,350.

Fees differ by college, quota and category, so candidates should check the fee shown against their own allotment.
