Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the online Karnataka UGNEET stray vacancy round 2026 for medical and dental seats. The notice (No. ED/KEA/UGNEET/CR-11/2026 (SVR)) is dated October 8, 2026. New registration will run from October 13 to 16, 2026.
Which Seats Will Be Offered
- Medical seats that remained unfilled after the third round of seat allotment were published on the KEA website on October 8, 2026.
- KEA said no dental seats remain unallotted.
- The unfilled seats will be offered in the stray vacancy round along with any other medical or dental seats that are cancelled or forfeited.
- Medical or dental seats of candidates who do not take admission before the last date after Round 3 will also be cancelled and added to the stray vacancy round.
New Registration: October 13 to 16, 2026
Candidates who have qualified in NEET 2026 but have not registered with KEA, or have not completed the registration process, can register during these dates. They can:
- Register and pay the fee
- Download the verification slip
- Pay the medical course fee
- Enter their options
Candidates who already hold a verification slip do not need to register again.
Who Is Eligible
- Only candidates who have not been allotted a medical seat in any round of seat allotment through KEA can take part for medical seats.
- Candidates who selected a dental seat may take part only for medical seats, subject to payment of the medical course fee.
Who Is Not Eligible
- Candidates who selected and reported for a seat in the first three rounds under the All India Quota, Deemed Universities or any other institution or board.
- Candidates allotted a seat in MCC’s fourth round.
- Candidates who have been allotted a medical seat in any round through KEA.
What Candidates Should Do
- Check the list of unfilled medical seats on the KEA website before the round starts.
- Register between October 13 and 16 if you have not registered or have not completed registration.
- Keep your verification slip ready if you already registered.
- Check the KEA website regularly for the option entry dates, result and reporting schedule.
