Who Can Enter Options?

Candidates who are eligible in UGNEET-2026, have registered and completed document verification, and hold the verification slip can enter options in this round.

Not eligible: Candidates who have joined medical colleges, and those allotted medical seats in the 3rd round, cannot participate in this round.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Already-admitted candidates: Those who already hold a seat should attend this round only if they are interested in AYUSH courses. They should first confirm they can get their original documents from the present college within the stipulated time.
  • Automatic cancellation: A seat held in any discipline is cancelled automatically once a seat is allotted in this round. Candidates cannot get the old seat back and must compulsorily join the newly allotted college.
  • Original documents: Obtaining original documents from the present college for admission to the new college is solely the candidate’s responsibility.
  • Fees: Fees paid for other courses will not be adjusted towards an AYUSH seat. Candidates who select an AYUSH seat must pay the fees again.
  • Other rules: All other guidelines and procedures in the UGCET-2026 Information Bulletin remain the same.

KEA Caution: Report on Time or Lose Both Seats

KEA has warned that candidates already admitted and studying in a college should participate only after consulting their parents and only if they are truly interested in AYUSH courses. Once they select a seat in this round, they will not be eligible to continue in the college allotted in earlier rounds.

Candidates must report to the allotted college on or before the last date prescribed. Those who fail to report will have no seat in their favour, will lose both seats, and will not get a fee refund.

KEA also advises candidates to start entering options only after confirming the colleges and the fees prescribed for each type of seat.

  1. Visit the official KEA website (kea.kar.nic.in).
  2. Check the seat matrix and fee structure for Ayurveda and Homoeopathy colleges.
  3. Log in with your UGNEET-2026 credentials and verification slip details.
  4. Enter your college and course options in order of priority.
  5. Submit the options before 11:00 am on October 12, 2026, and save a copy.
