The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has directed Karnataka UGCET 2026 candidates seeking admission to medical, dental, and AYUSH courses to upload their NEET UG 2026 details before the declaration of results. The move is aimed at streamlining the counselling and verification process for professional course admissions in the state.
According to KEA, candidates must enter and upload their NEET UG application-related details through the official counselling portal within the specified timeline. The authority clarified that this process is mandatory for students who wish to participate in Karnataka state counselling for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical-related courses.
KEA further stated that only candidates who will qualify for NEET UG 2026 will be eligible to participate in the option entry and counselling process after the result declaration. The current step is being conducted mainly for advanced data verification and preparation.
Students are advised to carefully verify the information entered during the upload process, as discrepancies may affect eligibility during counselling. Candidates should keep documents such as their NEET UG application number, admit card, and related credentials ready while completing the process.
The authority is expected to release further counselling schedules, document verification details, and seat matrix information after the NEET UG 2026 results are announced.
Candidates can regularly check for updates regarding Karnataka UGCET and medical counselling procedures.
