KEA NEET UG 2025 Notice: Free Exit Round 2 Seat Surrender

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released an important update regarding the seat allotment process for MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses under NEET UG 2025.

According to the notice, the final seat allotment result for the second round of medical and dental courses and the third round of AYUSH courses will be declared on September 23, 2025, after 11:00 AM on the official KEA website.

Key Highlights from the Notification

• Surrender Option:
  Candidates who have secured seats under KEA but wish to continue with their All India quota seats can surrender their KEA seat through the QUIT portal on September 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No penalty will be charged for surrendering.
• For Choice – 1 Candidates:
  Students who accepted their Round 1 KEA seats but now want to cancel must visit the KEA office in person by 5:00 PM on September 22, 2025, with all original documents to complete the cancellation process.

Additional Instructions

• Any caution deposit or fees paid in earlier rounds will be adjusted in this round if the candidate secures a new seat.
• To ensure the smooth completion of the admission process within the limited time, all colleges have been instructed to treat Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as working days during counselling.
