The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued a notice clarifying which UGNEET 2026 candidates are required to undergo document verification, along with the venue and slot booking process.
Who Does Not Require Verification?
- Candidates who have already downloaded the verification slip after entering their NEET roll number do not need to appear for verification again; they only need to re-download the slip if required.
- Candidates who registered newly and have not claimed any reservation category also do not need verification.
Who Is Required to Undergo Verification?
Only candidates who qualified UGNEET 2026, registered with KEA, entered their NEET roll number, and filled in specific details in the application form must appear for verification. This includes:

Note: Candidates who claimed Category RC-1 and RC-9 for St. John’s Medical College are not required to appear for verification.
Important Points to Note
- Candidates must appear for verification in person; no representative will be permitted on their behalf.
- Candidates are advised to refer to the information booklet hosted on the KEA website for the list of original documents required for verification.
- Slot booking for verification will open on the KEA website from 02-08-2026; candidates need to select the “Slot Book” link and choose a convenient date.
- Verification will be conducted from 04-08-2026 to 08-08-2026, only for candidates who have booked a slot.
