Candidates seeking admission into Government and Private (Non-Minority & Minority) medical colleges, as well as Government and Private Non-Minority dental colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, can now register for the web-based counselling process that will determine their State Merit position.
The Competent Authority Quota covers seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges (after deducting the 15% All India Quota share) and Category ‘A’ seats in private un-aided institutions, including the Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad. The complete seat matrix will be released on the KNRUHS website before web options begin. The tuition fee structure for 2026-27 will be notified separately by the Telangana government.

How to Register for KNRUHS Competent Authority Quota Counselling
- Visit the official portal: tsmedadm.tsche.in
- Fill in the online application form with required details
- Upload scanned copies of all mandatory certificates in the specified format and size
- Pay the registration and processing fee online
- Submit the form and retain a printed copy for future reference

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Indian Nationals, PIO, or OCI cardholders (issued before 04-03-2021) and satisfy Telangana’s local-status conditions under G.O.Ms.No. 33 and G.O.Ms.No. 150. Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, meeting minimum qualifying marks based on category, along with the NEET UG 2026 cut-off score. Candidates must also have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2026.
Documents Required
Key mandatory uploads include the NEET UG 2026 scorecard, birth certificate, Intermediate marks memo, study certificates (9th to Intermediate), transfer certificate, community certificate (where applicable), Aadhaar card, passport-size photo, and signature specimen. Additional certificates such as EWS income certificate, NCC, CAP, PMC, or minority certificate are required only where applicable.
Important Notes
- Registration and certificate upload will be done only once, irrespective of the number of counselling rounds.
- Incomplete applications or those missing mandatory documents will be rejected.
- Merit position does not guarantee admission; final eligibility is verified during document scrutiny.
