Maharashtra NEET UG CAP Round 2 Schedule 2026 Released

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the schedule for CAP Round 2 of NEET UG 2025 counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS (Group A) courses for the academic year 2026-27. The announcement was made through Notice No. 13 dated September 5, 2026.

Why CAP Round 2 Was Announced

As per State CET Cell Notice No. 10 dated August 19, 2026, CAP Round 1 of MBBS and BDS admissions has been completed. Following the schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota and State Counselling, the Maharashtra State CET Cell has now decided to conduct CAP Round 2 to fill the seats that remained vacant after Round 1.

Note on Demand Draft (DD) Payment: Candidates are allowed to make fee payment by cheque on bank holidays, provided the cheque is replaced with a DD on the next working day. If a candidate fails to submit the DD by the next working day, the admission may be cancelled.

• This schedule applies only to CAP Round 2 for MBBS and BDS (Group A) courses.
• The above schedule is subject to change based on directions from authorities including the MCC, AACCC, Central Government, State Government, or the Hon’ble Court.
