Maharashtra NEET UG Round 2 Private University Seat Matrix Out

Mumbai: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has released the provisional seat matrix for Round 2 of admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in private university medical and dental colleges under NEET (UG) 2026-2027. The seat matrix was printed on September 10, 2026, and is available on the official CET Cell portal.

Candidates participating in the Maharashtra state counselling process for private university medical and dental colleges can refer to this matrix while filling and locking their choices for Round 2.

Colleges and Seats Covered in Round 2

The Round 2 provisional seat matrix lists the following private university colleges along with their intake capacity:

As per the matrix, a total of 450 MBBS seats and 100 BDS seats are up for allotment in Round 2 across these private university institutes, with category-wise breakup provided for General, Women, State reserved categories (SC, ST, VJ, NT-B/C/D, OBC, SEBC, EWS) as well as institute-level NRI and All India quota seats.

Important Notes for Candidates

The CET Cell has clarified that the published seat matrix carries the following conditions:

• The seat position is subject to change based on updates from the respective institute, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) Nashik, the National Medical Commission (NMC)/Dental Council of India (DCI), or orders from courts, State or Central Government
• The Government/CET Cell Commissioner may revise the seat position before the actual allotment of seats in the CAP round
• Seats will be allotted only after the respective college receives affiliation from MUHS, Nashik, or the concerned council

Candidates are advised to keep checking the CET Cell website for the final seat matrix before locking their choices, as numbers may be revised closer to the allotment date.
