The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the NEET UG 2025 counselling process for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the All India Quota (AIQ). Eligible candidates can now register online for Round 1 counselling through the official MCC website.

MCC will conduct four rounds of counselling: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and a Stray Vacancy Round.
How to Register for MCC Counselling
- Visit the official MCC website and go to the UG counselling section.
- Click on “New Registration” and enter NEET UG 2025 credentials such as Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Email ID.
- Create a password and log in to your dashboard.
- Pay the required counselling fee online.
- Fill in your preferred choices of medical/dental colleges and lock them before the deadline.
- Download and print the registration slip and choice list for future reference.

Candidates applying under the NRI quota must also provide relevant proof such as passport, embassy certificate, and sponsorship affidavit.
Who Can Participate?
The counselling is open for candidates seeking admission under:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) in government medical and dental colleges
- Deemed Universities
- Central Universities and Institutions including AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, BHU, and others
- ESIC and AFMC colleges (AFMC has an additional screening process)
Options After Round 1
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 can either:
- Accept the seat and report to the college
- Opt for upgrade in Round 2
- Exit the round without joining (only if no seat is allotted)
Those not allotted any seat can wait for the next round without registering again.

- Do not wait till the last day for registration or choice locking.

After the provisional allotment result is declared on July 31, candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between August 1 and August 6. Internal document verification at institutes will take place on August 7 and 8, after which the next round will begin.
