The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released an important notice for UG 2025 counselling candidates whose security deposit refunds are still pending. According to the notification issued on June 9, 2026, a total of 696 candidates have not received their refunds due to issues such as closed bank accounts, incorrect account details, or other banking-related problems.
Candidates affected by this issue are required to submit Annexure A along with a notarized affidavit to enable MCC to process their pending refunds.
Why Are the Refunds Pending?
MCC stated that its financial custodian has attempted to process these refunds multiple times using the bank account details provided during counselling. However, the transactions were repeatedly returned unsuccessful by the respective banks.
Common reasons include:
- Closure of the registered bank account
- Incorrect bank account details
- Mismatch in account information
- Other banking-related issues resulting in failed transactions
What Should Candidates Do?
Candidates whose names appear in the enclosed list issued by MCC must submit the prescribed documents immediately.
They need to provide:
- A duly filled Annexure A form.
- An affidavit notarized on Court stamp paper in the format specified under Annexure A.
- Updated and correct bank account details for processing the refund.
Where to Submit the Documents?
The completed documents should be sent through email to:
- adgme@nic.in
- Copy (CC) to: financemcc@lifecarehll.com
MCC has advised candidates to submit the documents at the earliest to avoid any further delay in receiving their security deposit refunds.
Important Instructions
Candidates should ensure that all documents are complete and accurate before submission. MCC has clearly mentioned that:
- Incomplete applications may not be processed.
- Incorrect information can further delay the refund.
- Improperly submitted affidavits may lead to rejection or additional verification requirements.
