MCC NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a crucial update for NEET UG 2025 aspirants. The Round 2 counselling schedule has been extended after the inclusion of 197 newly accredited seats in the seat matrix. This decision follows the National Medical Commission (NMC) forwarding details of fresh seat accreditations and the ongoing scrutiny of NRI documents.

  1. Inclusion of newly accredited seats: NMC recently approved additional seats in certain medical colleges, which are now being integrated into the counselling matrix.

New Seats Added in Round 2 Seat Matrix

MCC’s second notice, clarifies the distribution of the 197 added seats as follows:

ESIC Medical College, Hyderabad (ESI Quota – 9 Seats)

  • UR (Unreserved): 03
  • OBC: 02
  • EWS: 01
  • SC: 02
  • ST: 01

Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi

  • Deemed/Paid Seats Quota: 158
  • Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Quota: 30

Total = 197 New Seats

With these additions, NEET UG aspirants now have more choices in Round 2 seat allotment.
