The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result for admission to MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing courses under the All India Quota (15% AIQ) and other central pool seats. What the Result Shows

The Round 2 result is published rank-wise and includes, for every candidate, the Round 1 allotment (institute, course, and reporting status) alongside the Round 2 allotment (quota, institute, course, allotted category, candidate’s option number, and remarks). Remarks in the result include statuses such as:

  • Upgraded – candidate moved to a better preference in Round 2
  • Retained – candidate retained the same seat as Round 1
  • Fresh Allotted in 2nd Round – candidate got a seat for the first time in Round 2
  • Not Allotted – candidate did not get a seat in Round 2
  • Did not opt for Upgradation / Did not fill up fresh choices – candidate’s choices were not updated for Round 2

Important Note for Candidates with Changed Category/Quota

MCC has clarified that candidates whose category or quota has changed within the same institution and subject must get an online-generated relieving letter and take admission on the changed category/quota seat, along with a fresh online-generated admission letter. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the allotted seat due to non-admission.

How to Check the NEET UG Round 2 Seat Allotment Result

  1. Visit the official MCC counselling website.
  2. Log in using your NEET roll number and application credentials.
  3. View your Round 1 and Round 2 allotment status, including allotted institute, course, category, and remarks.
  4. Download the allotment/relieving letter as applicable and proceed with reporting as per the schedule.
