mcc.nic.in 2025: Dates (Revised), Registration, Document, Fees, etc.

mcc.nic.in: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to conduct online NEET UG and NEET PG counselling for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government institutions, central universities, deemed universities, ESIC, and AFMS institutes. Students who qualify for the 15% All India Quota must apply for NEET-UG/NEET-PG Online Counselling 2025 on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates need to register on the website to claim their seats. Registration for the 15% All India Quota under the NEET examination will be available soon on the website.

The examination was conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India in medical/dental colleges with the approval of the National Medical Commission/Dental Council of India. The NEET AIQ counselling process for 2025 will be divided into four rounds, namely rounds 1, 2, mop up and stray vacancy. How to apply for NEET counselling 2025?

  • Complete the MCC NEET registration process, including making the payment.
  • Participate in the NEET 2025 counselling by filling and locking your choices.
  • Round 1 seat allotment and result declaration.
  • Report to the allotted Medical/Dental College (with the option for free entry/exit).
  • Round 2 net vacant seats are published. NEET counselling round 2 registration (not necessary for already registered candidates) and fresh choice filling for NEET counselling round 2.
  • Round 2 seat allocation (with an option to exit by forfeiting the security amount).
  • Report to the allotted medical/dental colleges/institutions for Round 2 (candidates who join the allotted seat in this round cannot vacate it).

MCC NEET-UG Counselling

The AIQ for NEET counselling in 2025 will include the following:

  • 15% MBBS/BDS Seats of States
  • 100% MBBS/BDS Seats of BHU
  • 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India
  • All India Quota of JIPMER (Puducherry/ Karaikal)
  • All India Quota seats of AMU/ DU/ VMMC/ ABVIMS
  • All India Quota Seats of Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia)
  • All India Quota Seats of ESIC
AIIMS and JIPMERAIIMS and JIPMER
100% Deemed UniversityThere will be four rounds of counselling, i.e. Round 1, Round 2 of AIQ and Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round.
Out of the four rounds, three rounds will be conducted online by MCC, i.e. Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-Up Round.
The respective Deemed Universities shall conduct the Stray Vacancy round.
AIIMS and JIPMERThere will be four rounds of counselling, i.e. Round 1, Round 2 of AIQ and Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round for 18 AIIMS. Out of the four rounds, three rounds will be conducted online by MCC, i.e. Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-Up Round. AIIMS shall conduct the Stray Vacancy round
ESICESIC 15% seats would be allotted through All India Quota (Round one & two). The remaining 85% of seats shall be treated as state quota seats and open to all the candidates participating in the Mop-up Round.

Scope of NEET PG 2025 counselling

Below mentioned, the postgraduate medical seats offered through NEET PG counselling include:

  • 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats
  • Central Universities
  • AFMS Institutions
  • Deemed Universities
  • State quota seats in government colleges in the state
  • State quota seats in private medical institutions in the state
  • Universities established by an Act of State
  • Universities established by municipal bodies trusts, society or company

Type of MCC NEET PG Counselling

The MCC counselling of NEET PG 2025 for 50% AIQ and 100% deemed and central universities, ESIC, and MCC will conduct AFMS seats. While for state quota and seats in private universities, the NEET PG 2025 counselling will be conducted by separate state bodies.
