Haryana NEET Counselling 2021

Haryana NEET counselling 2021 applications process is expected to start in the 2nd week of August (tentatively). No official dates have been published about the counselling process by the MCC and DMER Haryana. The counselling will be conducted online, and candidates who wish to participate in it need to register on the official website of DMER Haryana. According to NTA’s official notification, the NEET 2021 exam will be held on August 1, 2021.

Haryana NEET Counselling Process

  • The first two rounds of counselling for Haryana MBBS/BDS 2021 admission will conduct online based on the mop-up round, which will conduct manually.
  • New online registration will invite for a particular round of Haryana NEET-UG 2021 counselling.
  • Depending upon the application received DMER, Haryana will release the merit list after a particular Haryana NEET 2021 counselling round.
  • Haryana merit list 2021 will be category-specific and separately release for government-aided medical, dental, private, and dental colleges.
  • Candidates enlisted in the merit list for Haryana MBBS/BDS admissions 2021 have to participate in the choice filling process.
  • Seat allotment will be done based on the Haryana merit list 2021 and the choice which the applicants will fill.
  • An allotment letter will be issued for the students who are allotted seats for admission to Haryana MBBS/BDS courses; applicants can access the allotment letter by logging into their accounts.

Counselling Procedure

A candidate can visit the official portal of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Haryana to get themselves registered for NEET 2021 Haryana State Counselling.

  • Candidate Registration: Register to the official website.
  • Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.
  • Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices.
  • Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
  • New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.
  • Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
  • Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
  • Reporting to college (Round 2): Here it is to be noted that, those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counselling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.

Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)

Candidate applying for Medical/Dental Colleges in Haryana must register themselves for the NEET counselling 2021. Counselling of NEET 2021 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.

  • Candidate Registration: Register to the official website.
  • Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock in the online portal’s preferences.
  • Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online based on available vacancies and candidate’s choices.
  • Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
  • New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counselling.

  • 12th Certificate.
  • 12th Mark Sheet.

  • Domicile Certificate (for Uttarakhand candidate only).
  • Certificate of Sub Category, If Applicable.
  • ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter card etc.)
  • 4 Latest Passport Size Photographs

NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

  • The application seekers should have qualified for the NEET Entrance Examination.
  • Aspirants must have the domicile of Haryana.
  • The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology and English are the compulsory subjects with minimum of 50% marks, 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates and 45% marks are for Physically Handicap candidates.
  • Age Criteria: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age. The candidates born on or after 02-01-2004 are not eligible for admission into MBBS, BDS Courses.

Selection Procedure

  • The Exam conducting authority will make the merit list of the selected candidates for admission after the NEET State counselling.
  • Admission Seekers will be selected on the basis of their rank obtained and choice filled during counselling.
  • Admission Seekers will have to report to the allotted college for admission along with all required documents.
  • If any student fails to report to the allotted college in any circumstances within the given time, the seat of this candidate will be forfeited.
