About Directorate of Medical Education and Research Haryana
All government actions aim to promote human growth and improve people’s quality of life. The state needs highly qualified people to deal with health-related issues and promote good health. The medical education department trains medical and paramedical personnel to meet the state’s health needs.
The Directorate of Medical Education & Research Haryana was carved out of the Health Department as a separate Directorate on 8th January 2009 for the up-gradation and expansion of Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Paramedical under the administrative control of the Administrative Secretary of the Department of Health & Medical Education. Subsequently, a separate Department of Medical Education & Research was established vide Govt. Notification dated 4th September 2014.
