The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has put out a fresh notice on its official website regarding UG Medical Counselling 2026, confirming that the much-awaited counselling schedule will be uploaded shortly.
What the Notice Says
Under the “Latest News” section on the MCC website, the update reads:
The UG Counselling Schedule will be uploaded shortly. All candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website and check it periodically for the latest updates, notifications, and announcements related to the UG Counselling process.
Where Things Stand
- NTA declared the NEET UG 2026 result on 16 July 2026, with around 11.21 lakh candidates qualifying.
- MCC is yet to release the official counselling schedule for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS, BDS, and other UG medical courses.
- Based on past cycles, counselling typically involves 4 to 5 rounds, each lasting 10 to 15 days, covering registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting.

- Keep NEET UG 2026 scorecards and required documents ready in advance
- Track both AIQ (MCC) and State Counselling timelines if eligible for both
