New Delhi: Authorities will impose prohibitory orders in Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Sunday to ensure smooth conduct of the NEET UG 2025 exam, an official said. The exam will be held at 22 centres across the city from 2 PM to 5 PM.

To ensure smooth conduct of the exam, the Ranchi administration has issued prohibitory orders under BNS Section 163. These orders will remain in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM on May 4 within a 200-metre radius of all examination centres.

The administration has prohibited the gathering of five or more people, the use of sound systems, public meetings, and the carrying of weapons such as guns, rifles, explosives, sticks, and bows and arrows within the restricted zones.

To maintain law and order, officials have deployed magistrates, senior police personnel, and adequate security forces at all exam centres.
