The Dental Council of India (DCI) has extended the NEET MDS 2025 internship deadline from March 31, 2025, to June 30, 2025, giving candidates an additional three months of time. This extension was officially announced through a notification released on March 26, 2025.
The DCI has informed NEET MDS candidates that the Government of India has revised the deadline for completion of internship to June 30, 2025, making candidates eligible for the exam. Additionally, the NEET MDS 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on April 19, 2025.
Join NEET PG News 2025 The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will reopen the NEET MDS 2025 application window for candidates whose internship is ending between April 1 and June 30, 2025. However, the exact date for the reopening of applications is yet to be announced.

As per NBEMS, the NEET MDS 2025 application window is expected to reopen in the first week of April 2025, after assessing the availability of exam centers.
Interestingly, the NEET MDS 2024 internship deadline was also extended last year from March 31, 2024, to June 30, 2024.
