NEET UG 2025: Chandigarh Set up 11 New Exam Centres Amid Tight Security

Chandigarh: The NEET UG 2025 exam will take place on May 4. The Chandigarh administration has completed all preparations for this important exam. Around 4,500 students will appear for the test at 11 exam centres in the city.

Commissioner Holds Special Meeting to Review Preparations

Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav led a special meeting to check the exam arrangements. District-level officers joined the meeting and discussed every part of the plan. The Deputy Commissioner told officials to strictly follow the rules of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Ministry of Education.

Focus on Security and Traffic Control

The administration will place CCTV cameras at all exam centres. The control room at the DC office will monitor live footage to ensure everything runs smoothly. Chandigarh Police has received clear instructions to strengthen security and manage traffic around the exam centres to avoid any confusion or problems on exam day.

Strict Steps to Stop Cheating

The Deputy Commissioner has asked officials to ensure students reach the centres without trouble. The administration will use biometric attendance, proper checking, and strict anti-cheating steps. Officials will stay alert and ready to handle any unexpected situation. The DC also requested students and parents to support the process.

Special Arrangements for Students at Exam Centers

The administration wants to provide a calm and fair environment for the exam. They have arranged basic facilities like drinking water, clean toilets, and other important services at the centres. Special teams will be available to fix any technical issues or other problems quickly.
