New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has activated the PwD certificate portal for candidates participating in Round 3 of NEET UG 2025 counselling. The portal will remain operational until 5:00 PM on October 4, 2025.
Eligible candidates with disabilities (PwD) are required to obtain their PwD certificates from the designated disability centres as per their eligibility criteria defined under National Medical Commission (NMC) norms. This certificate is essential for PwD candidates to avail reservation benefits during the counselling and seat allotment process.
How to Apply for PwD Certificate:
- Access the PwD portal activated by MCC for Round 3 counselling.
- Choose one of the designated MCC-authorized disability centres.
- Carry all necessary documents, including medical reports, disability proof, and identification.
- Get your documents verified and obtain the PwD certificate from the authorized centre as per NMC norms.
- Upload the certificate on the MCC portal if required before the deadline.
Candidates are advised to complete this process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues that may affect their participation in the counselling. The MCC emphasizes that only certificates issued by authorized centres will be considered valid.
This step is crucial as Round 3 counselling is the final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure seats under various quotas, including PwD reservations. Candidates should ensure that their documents are complete and verified to avoid delays in the allotment process.
