OJEE has listed the following criteria for candidates to fill or modify choices and be considered for a seat allotment.

  1. Newly registered candidates: Candidates who registered fresh for Round 2 must fill new choices. They can do so only after completing registration and paying the counselling fee.
  2. No seat allotted in Round 1: These candidates do not need to fill fresh choices. If they want to change the choices filled in Round 1, they must give consent as “Yes” to fill or modify choices for Round 2.
  3. Seat allotted but not reported: Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not complete physical reporting must fill fresh choices to take part in Round 2. Their earlier choices are treated as null and void.
  4. Candidates who withdrew: Those who withdrew from counselling for any reason and wish to participate again can fill fresh choices by giving consent as “Yes” after logging in to their account.
  5. Allotted seat cancelled: Candidates whose allotted seat was cancelled due to reasons such as a category or sub-category change must fill fresh choices by giving consent. Their previous choices are treated as null and void.

Important Note on Float and Non-Reporting

OJEE has given two clarifications for Round 1 allottees.

  • Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1, reported physically at the OJEE Office, Gandamunda, and chose the Float option cannot fill or modify choices in any further round of web counselling.
  • Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not report physically at the OJEE Office, Gandamunda, are treated as non-reported candidates. They will not be considered in further rounds and must follow the instructions listed above.

What Candidates Should Do

  1. Read the notice and the “Information and Instructions for Counselling and Admission to BAMS/BHMS Courses, 2026-27” carefully.
  2. Identify which category you fall under: new registrant, no seat in Round 1, non-reporting, withdrawn or seat cancelled.
  3. Log in to the OJEE portal and give consent where required.
  4. Fill or modify your choices as applicable.
  5. Keep checking www.ojee.nic.in for further updates.
