Punjab NEET UG 2025: The Punjab State has started the second round of online counselling for NEET UG 2025 admissions to MBBS courses. The process brings relief to many aspirants as new seats and institutions have been added to the distribution list, giving candidates more opportunities to secure admission.
According to the official notification, three major changes have been made in this round. GGS Medical College, Faridkot, has increased its intake from 150 to 200 seats, which are already included in the second round. ESIC Medical College, Ludhiana, is introduced as a new institute with 17 state quota seats. This college has also been included in the counselling process, and its annual tuition fee is fixed at ₹1,00,000. Additionally, DMC Ludhiana has increased its seats from 100 to 150, which are likely to be included in this round.
The updated vacancy and distribution details are now available on the university portal. In view of these changes, the date of submission for willingness to participate in round 2 has been extended till September 12, 2025, up to 5:00 PM. The rest of the counselling schedule will follow the guidelines issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
