Reason for the Extension
As per the notice, the deadline extension follows the declaration of the final seat allotment result by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the afternoon of September 12, 2026. In view of this, the Rajasthan State NEET UG Counselling Board has extended the resignation deadline for Round 1 joined candidates to give them adequate time to make their decision.

How Candidates Can Resign From Round 1 Seat
- Candidates who wish to resign from their Round 1 joined seat must physically report to their respective allotted college to complete the withdrawal formalities.
- The resignation letter or seat withdrawal slip must be generated online through the official portal of the college on the counselling website.
- Resignations processed without an online-generated slip will be considered invalid.
- No further requests for resignation or seat withdrawal will be entertained after 5:00 PM on September 13, 2026.
Important Advisory
Candidates are strongly advised to complete their resignation formalities well before the extended deadline, as the Board has made it clear that requests submitted after 5:00 PM on September 13, 2026 will not be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates must ensure the online-generated slip is in hand at the time of physical reporting, as resignations without this document will not be processed.
