The Uttar Pradesh AYUSH UG Counselling Board 2026 has released the schedule for Round 1 of online counselling for BAMS, BUMS and BHMS admissions. The notice is dated 30 September 2026 and covers the 2026-27 session in government and private Ayurvedic, Unani and Homoeopathic medical colleges in the state. Registration opens on 6 October 2026, and admission under Round 1 closes on 28 October 2026.

Physical verification will take place at the nodal centre, Government National Homoeopathic Medical College, Hahnemann Chauraha, Viraj Khand-1, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
Eligibility for UP AYUSH UG Counselling 2026
- The candidate must be NEET UG 2026 qualified and registered on the official counselling website.
- The candidate must have passed Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
- The candidate must be 17 years old by 31 December 2026. No upper age limit applies.
- Minimum NEET UG 2026 percentile: 50 for Unreserved/EWS, 40 for SC/ST/OBC, 45 for Unreserved PwD and 40 for Reserved PwD. Any change by the National Commission for Indian Medicine or National Commission for Homoeopathy will apply.
- For government colleges, candidates who passed high school and Intermediate in UP do not need a domicile certificate. Others from UP must submit one.
- For private and minority colleges, UP domicile is not required.
Registration Fee and Security Money
As per the state government’s counselling policy:
- Registration fee: Rs 2,000, non-refundable, covering Rounds 1, 2 and 3. For the stray vacancy round, candidates who are not yet registered pay Rs 2,000, and those registered earlier but without a seat pay Rs 1,000.
- Security money for government colleges: Rs 20,000
- Security money for private colleges: Rs 50,000. Candidates choosing both government and private colleges pay Rs 50,000.
- Candidates can fill choices only after depositing the security money.
- Security money is refunded after all rounds end, through the same bank account used for payment. Candidates should pay from their own or a parent’s account.
Documents Needed
For online upload:
- High school or equivalent certificate
- Intermediate or equivalent marksheet
- NEET UG 2026 scorecard
- Reservation certificate, if applicable
- Domicile certificate, if applicable
- Aadhaar authentication, or another photo ID such as a driving licence, passport, PAN card or bank passbook
For physical verification, candidates must also carry the NEET admit card, a passport-size photo, an online registration printout and a security money printout. They must bring both originals and self-attested photocopies. OBC and EWS certificates must have been issued on or after 1 April 2026.
Reservation in Government Colleges
Vertical reservation: SC 21%, ST 2%, OBC 27% and EWS 10%. Horizontal reservation: 2% for dependants of freedom fighters, 2% for children of ex-servicemen, 5% for PwD candidates, 20% for women and 1% for NCC cadets.
In private and minority colleges, all seats are unreserved. In private colleges, 15% of seats are filled through the All India Quota and 85% through the state quota.
Counselling Structure and Key Rules
- Counselling will be held in Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and a stray vacancy round.
- Choice locking is mandatory. Seats will not be allotted without it.
- A candidate allotted a seat in Round 1 or 2 who wants to join a later round needs a no-objection certificate from the admitted college. This does not apply to Round 3 and stray vacancy admissions.
- Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 or the stray vacancy round must take admission, or the whole security money is forfeited. Resignation is not allowed from these rounds.
- Candidates declared ineligible by AACCC-2026 cannot take part.
