UP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Counselling Registration Extended

The Office of the Director General, Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has issued a re-extended time schedule for Round 1 online counselling registration under UP NEET UG 2026, for admission to State Quota seats in MBBS/BDS courses across government and private medical/dental colleges and universities in the state. The order, numbered ME-3/2026/1589 (Hindi) / 1590 (English), was issued on September 1, 2026.

Revised Round 1 Schedule

In continuation of the timetable issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, DGME UP has notified the following extended dates for Round 1:

Candidates seeking admission to State Quota seats must complete registration, document upload and fee/security deposit within these revised windows to be considered for the Round 1 merit list, which will be declared the same day – September 2, 2026.

NCC Cadet Reservation Clarification

The notice also reiterates the horizontal reservation provision for NCC cadets, as laid out under point 6, sub-point (b) – serial no. 4 – of the UP NEET UG 2026 policy order (No. I/1448377/2026/71-4099/1011/2022, dated 01.09.2026):

NCC Cadets holding at least a ‘C’ certificate with ‘B’ grading, or a ‘B’ certificate	1%

This confirms that candidates with either a ‘C’ certificate (minimum B grading) or a ‘B’ certificate will be eligible for the 1% horizontal NCC reservation in this counselling cycle.
