UP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Resignation Last Date Sept 15

The Directorate General of Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has issued an important notice regarding resignation by candidates admitted through Round 1 online counselling of UP NEET UG 2026. Candidates who wish to resign from their admitted seat must do so in person at their respective nodal centre by 5:00 PM on September 15, 2026.

The Office of the Director General, Medical Education & Training, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, has released a notice (Letter No. M-03/2026/1646, dated September 12, 2026) concerning resignation by candidates who were allotted and admitted to seats through Round 1 online counselling of UP NEET UG 2026.

Key Details of the Notice

As per the policy decision Government Order No. I/1448377/2026/71-4099/1011/2022, dated September 1, 2026, and the provisions mentioned in the UP NEET UG 2026 brochure, candidates in both Government and Private Medical/Dental colleges who were allotted a seat through Round 1 counselling for MBBS/BDS courses, and who have already taken admission on that allotted seat, can submit their resignation from the admitted seat if they wish to do so.

Deadline and Process for Resignation

• Last Date & Time: 15-09-2026, up to 5:00 PM
• Process: Candidates wishing to resign must be personally present at the nodal centre related to their admitted seat and submit their resignation there in person.
• Resignation submissions will not be accepted after the specified deadline.
