Uttarakhand BAMS/BHMS/BUMS NEET 2026 Seat Matrix Released

The Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAUC) has released the approved seat matrix for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) admissions under NEET UG 2026 counselling for the Academic Session 2026-27. The seat matrix has been prepared as per the Uttarakhand Government Order dated 22 May 2020 and the subsequent order dated 18 September 2026, and follows the same reservation roster applied during UAUC-UG 2025 counselling.

Sixteen university-affiliated and private Ayurvedic medical colleges across Uttarakhand are participating in this round, with a total of over 1,000 BAMS seats available for allotment.

Quota Distribution: 15% AIQ, 85% State Quota

As per directions issued by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi (letter dated 31 August 2026) and communicated by the Uttarakhand Ayush and Ayush Education Department on 18 September 2026, the seat matrix for admission in State/UT Government, Government-aided, and Private institutions will follow this split for the 2026-27 academic session:

• 15% seats – All India Quota (AIQ), filled by AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee)
• 85% seats – State/Union Territory Quota, as per NCISM and NCH Regulations

Key Points for Candidates

• The UAU (University Campus) colleges – Rishikul, Gurukul, and the Faculty of Ayurveda, Dehradun – reserve 11 seats each for the All India Quota, filed through AACCC.
• Private Ayurvedic colleges have a separate “Open (Unreserved Open)” AIQ share ranging from 7 to 13 seats depending on total intake.
• The total number of seats may increase or decrease, as noted in the official document, based on further regulatory approvals.
