Dehradun: The seat matrix for Uttarakhand NEET UG Round 3 Counselling 2026 has been released for State Quota and All India Open Quota seats, as on September 29, 2026. It lists seats in 11 colleges, including six government and five private institutions, across MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates registering for Round 3 can use it to plan their choices.

Government and Private College Trends

• Government MBBS colleges together offer about 109 seats. Pithoragarh alone accounts for 43 of them.
• Private MBBS colleges in Dehradun offer about 163 seats. Guru Ram Rai (63), Gautam Buddha (56) and Himalayan Institute (44) have the highest counts.
• BDS seats are available only in two private colleges, Seema Dental College and Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute, with about 30 seats in total.

Reservation Details

The seat matrix gives category-wise seats under State Quota for Unreserved, SC, OBC, ST and EWS candidates. Each category is further divided into sub-categories: Open, Freedom Fighter (FF), DPW, PwD, Women and Orphan.

Important notes from the seat matrix:

• Reservation follows the Uttarakhand Government order dated May 22, 2020. The new 100-point roster has been applied college-wise since the 2020-21 session and carries forward to 2026-27 and later sessions.
• The seat numbers are based on information given by the respective institutes.
• The number of seats may increase or decrease based on orders and approvals from the Government of India and the Uttarakhand Government.
• One central pool seat is reserved for the spouse and children of terrorist victims, in government colleges only.
