The schedule, issued on November 2, 2026 (Memo No. HFW-23099/320/2026/M/3849), covers State Quota and Private Management Quota seats in West Bengal.

Key Points for Candidates
- Who can apply: Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and want to take part in the Special Stray Round for MBBS or Round 5 for BDS.
- Verification: After registration and fee payment, candidates will be verified in the college and time slot assigned by the software. This is not applicable to NRI candidates, who should read Notice Point No. 3 for details.
- Choice filling: Only candidates on the verified list can fill and lock choices.
- Reporting and admission: Allotted candidates must report to their allotted institute with original documents, the required college fee and bond. For all private medical colleges, admission will take place in different government medical colleges in Kolkata, as per the notice on the website. For all private dental colleges, admission will take place at Dr. R Ahmed Dental College.
- Physical verification: Candidates can take admission only after successful physical verification of documents.
MCC Schedule for the Special Stray Round
The notice also includes the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) schedule for the Special Stray Round for MBBS and Round 5 for BDS and B.Sc Nursing seats:
- Last date of joining: November 16, 2026
- Data sharing: MCC will share data of All India Quota allotted candidates with the states for weeding on November 7, 2026.
- Working days: All participating colleges must treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days to keep to the schedule.
What Candidates Should Do
- Register online and pay the fee between November 3 and 4, 2026.
- Attend verification in the assigned college and slot on November 4 or 5.
- Fill and lock choices between 6 PM on November 5 and 2 PM on November 6.
- Check the allotment result on November 12 and report for admission on November 13, 14 or 16, with original documents, fee and bond.
