The Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has released the Final Merit List for MBBS/BDS 1st Round Counselling 2026 on August 21, 2026. The merit list has been prepared on the basis of NEET UG 2026 scores and is now available for all HP Quota candidates.

According to the official notice, HP Quota candidates will now be allowed to fill choices for Management Quota seats (Private Colleges) as well, in addition to HP Quota seats.

As per the merit list, Akshaj Sharma has topped the HP Quota merit list with an All India NEET Rank of 756 and a NEET score of 663, followed by Vaishvi Sharma (AIR 1239, score 653) and Riya Dewan (AIR 1538, score 649) at the second and third positions respectively.
Important Instructions for Candidates
AMRU has issued the following advisories for candidates:
- Candidates claiming benefits under any reserved category or quota must ensure that all supporting certificates and documents are valid, updated, and submitted in the format prescribed in the Prospectus.
- Candidates are advised to get their certificates/documents updated or prepared in the prescribed format well before the admission process begins.
- In case of any discrepancy, outdated or invalid certificate, or non-submission of the required document, the candidate will not be entitled to claim benefits under the respective category/quota.
- A provisional seat allotment does not confer any right to admission — the final eligibility and category claim will be subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.
- Candidates must approach their allotted college/institute only after the declaration of the Final Seat Allotment and after downloading the Provisional Allotment Letter from their candidate login. Admission will not be considered without seat allocation through AMRU.

- Download the PDF and check your roll number/application number in the list
- Log in to the candidate portal to download the Provisional Allotment Letter (once released)
