Andhra Pradesh AIAPGET Counselling 2020 is the state centralized online counselling process. Consequently, an applicant sitting for counselling can apply to MD/MS/PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy in the state’s various Government/Private Medical College. The AP Ayush PG Counselling 2020 will be based on one’s AIA-PGET Scorecard. Furthermore, the counselling is managed by the Andhra Pradesh Ayush Department.

The Candidates who have already got admission through AIQ counselling of AACCC, New Delhi, are not eligible to participate in this counselling. If it is found that the ineligible candidate participated in this counselling, the candidature of such candidate will be cancelled and will not be permitted in further counselling’s. AP 2020 AIAPGET Counselling Process

Andhra Pradesh AIAPGET Counselling 2020 is conducted by Dr NTR University Of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, to MD/MS (Ayurveda, Homeopathy etc.) courses in Andhra Pradesh Ayush colleges.

How to Apply?

Procedure of filling online application form and payment of fee through online.

  • The fee can be paid through a Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.
  • The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.
  • Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully regarding eligibility under local and non-local.
  • Visit the website through Internet Explorer 11 version only to fill the application form.
  • The Registration number, which will be sent to the registered mobile after entering the necessary details, should be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidential and should not be disclosed to others.
  • Fill – in all the correct details in the online application form and upload all the documents, including the mandatory certificates.
  • The following Certificates are required to complete the online application process. 
  • The original certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. The application fee has to be paid online.

Verification Fee: The candidates who studied the BHMS/ BAMS course outside the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana are required to pay an extra fee of Rs. 3540/- (3000/-+540/- GST 18%) towards Degree Verification fee in addition to the above registration

Internship Completion CriteriaThe candidate should have completed training as an internee/House Officer on or before 31.12.2020.
Extra weightage of marksFor in-service candidates, extra weightage of marks on length and service type will be awarded as of 31.12.2020.
Rural service – 8% per each year up to a maximum of 3 years.
Tribal service – 10% per each year up to a maximum of 3 years.

Eligibility for MD/MS (Ayurveda) Courses

The Students possessing the BAMS degree and have completed one year of internship and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of the qualifying degree as per provision of IMCC 1970/HCC1973 Act are eligible for admission into MD/MS(Ayurveda) courses as prescribed by respective Central Council from time to time (CCIM).

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, the students who secured the below noted minimum marks or above in All India AYUSH Post Graduates Test (AIAPGET) 2020 and applied to the University are only eligible for admission into MD/MS (Ayurveda) courses 2020-21.

The PG Courses leading to Doctor of Medicine and surgery in Ayurveda are open to the holders of the BAMS Degree of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences and holders of any other University/Statutory body included in the 2nd schedule to the IMCC Act, 1970.
The candidate should have completed training as an internee/House Officer by 31.12.2020.

Seat Reservation

  • 15%, 6% and 29% of the seats available in each course shall be reserved for SC, ST and BC, respectively. The 29% of BC seats shall be distributed as BC-A-7%, BC-B- 10%, BC-C-1%, BC-D-7% and BC-E-4% as per the availability of seats.
  • A candidate claiming reservation under clause 5.1 shall produce a certificate of his / her social status in the form specified and appended in Annexure I to the application.

Service Weightage:

  • The service candidate shall be awarded extra weightage of marks on length and type of service, i.e., Rural service – 8% per year up to a maximum of 3 years. Tribal service – 10% per each year up to a maximum of 3 years.
  • An in-service candidate has put in a minimum of three years of regular Service in Rural & Tribal areas.
  • Those in-service candidates who have the remaining service of a minimum of eight (8) years as of the admission date are only eligible to apply for the said seats.

AIAPGET Exam Guidelines

  • Candidates MUST bring the following documents on the day of examination at the test centre. Those who will not bring these will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
    i. Print copy of admit Card downloaded from NTA website
    ii. One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Centre’s attendance sheet during the Examination.
    iii. Any one of the authorized Govt photoIDs (original,validandnon-expired),viz.PANcard/ Driving License/ VoterID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ RationCard
    iv. PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming the relaxation under the PwD category.
  • The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre two hours before the examination’s commencement to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before the time.
  • The registration desk will close 90 minutes before the examination. Candidates shall not be permitted to enter the examination centre after 08:30 A.M.

The candidates are prohibited to bring

  • Any electronic gadgets/device in the examination room/hall.
  • Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting etc., in the examination room/Hall is strictly prohibited.
  • Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any Paper/ Stationery, Eatables/snacks and Tea/coffee/cold drinks/Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets etc. are NOT allowed in the Examination Room/Hall.

If any candidate has any of the above items, his/ her candidature will be treated as unfair means and lead to cancellation of the current examination & debar the candidate for future examination(s) & the material will be seized.
