Arunachal Pradesh NEET UG 2026 Inter-Se Merit: Register by July 30

The Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, has asked candidates who appeared for NEET UG 2026 to submit their details online if they wish to know their provisional inter-se merit position among candidates from the state.

What the Circular Says

As per the circular issued by DHTE, Itanagar, candidates interested in checking their inter-se merit position can submit their details through the link available on the official websites, www.apdhte.nic.in or www.apjee.co.in, within July 30, 2026.

DHTE has clarified that this submission is only for candidates to know their provisional inter-se merit position and does not amount to registration for counselling.

Separate Registration Required for Counselling

The circular states that candidates will still need to separately and invariably register on the official DHTE portal and complete all formalities to be considered for counselling and seat allotment. The schedule for counselling registration will be announced later by the Directorate.

Why Inter-Se Merit Matters

For Arunachal Pradesh, NEET UG state quota admissions to MBBS, BDS and other PCB group courses are decided based on an inter-se merit list prepared by DHTE using NEET UG scores along with the state’s own tie-breaking criteria. Knowing this provisional position early helps candidates plan their choice-filling strategy once formal counselling registration opens.

4. Save the confirmation of submission for your reference.
