WB NEET UG Special Stray Round 2026 Revised Schedule Out

The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, has released a revised tentative schedule for the Special Stray Round for MBBS and Round 5 for BDS under WB NEET UG Counselling 2026. The memo is dated November 4, 2026, and covers State Quota and Private Management Quota seats in West Bengal. Registration and fee payment have been extended by one day, and the verification and choice filling dates have moved ahead.

Key Points for Candidates

• One extra day to register and pay. Registration now closes at 8 PM on November 5, and fee payment closes at midnight on November 5.
• Three days of verification. After registration and fee payment, the software assigns each candidate a college and time slot for verification. This is not applicable to NRI candidates, who should read Notice Point No. 3.
• Only verified candidates fill choices. Choice filling and locking are open only to the candidates on the verified list.
• Result and reporting dates are unchanged. The result is on November 12 and reporting is on November 13, 14 and 16, 2026.

Where to Report for Admission

Allotted candidates report with the required original documents, the college fee and the bond. Admission is confirmed only after successful physical document verification.

• Private medical colleges: The admission process takes place in different government medical colleges in Kolkata, as per the notice already on the website.
• Private dental colleges: The admission process takes place at Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College.

What Candidates Should Do

1. Register and pay the fee before 8 PM and midnight on November 5, 2026.
2. Attend verification in the assigned college and slot between November 4 and 6.
3. Check the verified list and seat matrix on November 6, after 5 PM.
4. Fill and lock choices between 6 PM on November 6 and 2 PM on November 7.
5. Check the allotment result on November 12 and report on November 13, 14 or 16.
