Tripura NEET UG 2026 Special Stray Vacancy Round Schedule Out

The Tripura Medical Counselling Committee (TRMCC), Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura, has announced the Special Stray Vacancy Round of Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026. The notification (Ref. No. F.5(6)-DME/NEET/UGCounselling/2026/6329) is dated November 3, 2026. The round will fill the seats that remain vacant after the Stray Vacancy Round and will be held on the online counselling portal, trmcc.admissions.nic.in. It begins on November 4, 2026.

Registration and payment (both the registration fee and the security deposit), online verification by the Verification Committee and choice filling all happen in the first stage, so candidates should plan the steps in order.

Who Can Participate?

• Fresh registration: Eligible candidates can register and fill choices for the first time in this round.
• Registered earlier but not allotted a seat: Candidates who registered in previous rounds but got no seat can take part.

Who Cannot Participate?

• Candidates already admitted in previous rounds of counselling.
• Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 or the Stray Vacancy Round.

There is no upgradation of seats for candidates already admitted through earlier rounds.

Important Rules for Candidates

• Submit choices online. Candidates must fill and submit their choices through their own account on the portal within the schedule, and should check them carefully before final submission.
• Fees stay the same. The registration fee and security deposit remain as prescribed in the information bulletin and TRMCC’s earlier notifications.
• Basis of allotment. Seats are allotted on the basis of NEET UG 2026 merit, eligibility, the reservation policy, the choices exercised and the availability of seats.
• Nomination letter. Allotted candidates must collect their nomination letter from the Office of the Director of Medical Education, Government of Tripura, and report to the allotted institution for verification of original documents and admission.
• Penalty for not joining. Candidates who do not join the allotted institution in the given period forfeit their security deposit.

What Candidates Should Do

1. Register on trmcc.admissions.nic.in and pay the registration fee and security deposit between November 4 (2:00 PM) and November 9 (12:00 noon).
2. Get the online verification done, and remove any discrepancy by 2:00 PM on November 9 if the verification committee points one out.
3. Fill and submit choices from 3:00 PM on November 5 to 5:00 PM on November 9.
4. Check the allotment result on November 10, 2026.
5. Collect the nomination letter and complete document verification and admission at the allotted institution between November 11 and 16, 2026, and join by November 16.
