The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has released the time schedule for the stray vacancy round of online counselling for UP NEET UG 2026. Resignation Notice for Round 1, 2 and 3 Admitted Candidates

DGME has issued a second notice (No. ME-3/2026/1949, dated November 3, 2026) for candidates who took admission in Rounds 1, 2 or 3 of UP NEET UG 2026 counselling.

• Candidates who have taken admission on an allotted MBBS or BDS seat in a government, autonomous or private medical or dental college, institute or medical university and want to resign the seat must do so by 5:00 PM on November 5, 2026.
• They must appear in person at the nodal centre related to the seat they are admitted to.
• The notice follows the policy government order dated September 1, 2026 and the rules in the counselling brochure.
