Guwahati: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, has released the provisional select list of candidates after the 2nd round of online counselling for MBBS and BDS courses in government medical and dental colleges under the Assam State quota for the 2025 session. The list is now available on the official DME website: dme.assam.gov.in.
Key Instructions for Candidates:
- Candidates selected under the PwD (Divyang) category, whose disability status has not been verified, must report to Gauhati Medical College & Hospital on 24th September 2025 at 10:00 AM for benchmark verification. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of allotment.
- All selected candidates must report to the respective colleges on 26th or 27th September 2025 with original documents and pay admission and counselling fees (₹25,000).
- Admissions are provisional and subject to verification of eligibility, medical fitness, and authenticity of documents. Submission of false information may lead to cancellation and legal action.
- Candidates re-allotted in the 2nd round must report to the newly allotted college with proof of document submission from the previous college.
- College uniforms are mandatory, and all students must submit an agreement as per the MBBS/BDS Admission Rules 2017 (amended upto 2025) within 15 days of admission.
