Assam NEET UG 2025 Round 3: The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam has released the schedule for the third round of online counselling for admission into 1st year MBBS and BDS courses under state quota seats in government medical and dental colleges for the academic session 2025.
Candidates who qualified in NEET-UG 2025 and meet the required eligibility criteria can participate in this round. However, students who have already secured or are holding a seat in any medical or dental college across India through earlier rounds of counselling will not be allowed to participate further.

The Directorate has advised students to complete their registration, choice filling, and choice locking strictly within the given timeline. Once locked, choices cannot be changed. Seat allotment results will be published on October 17, 2025, after which selected candidates must report to their allotted colleges between October 21 and October 22, 2025.
Officials have also stressed that the entire counselling process will be conducted online through the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam.
The Directorate has requested candidates to keep a close watch on the official website for updates and follow the instructions carefully to avoid any inconvenience.
